  • Inform your provider of any recent cosmetic treatments, medications, skin sensitivities, allergies, or changes in your health.

  • Wear broad-spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen daily and avoid excessive sun exposure.

  • Avoid touching, picking, or scratching your skin.

  • Continue using gentle cleansers and moisturizers for the next 24–48 hours.

  • Avoid retinol, tretinoin, exfoliating acids, scrubs, and harsh skincare products for 2–3 days.

  •  Avoid excessive heat, hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms, and intense exercise for 24 hours.

  • Mild redness may occur following extractions or exfoliation and typically resolves quickly.
